We're seeking aq 3D CAD Modeler for a unique, tailored mission.
Responsibilities

• Provides 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) in support of US Navy Integrated Topside Design and Computational Electromagnetic analysis.
  
• Develop models that will be used for electromagnetic simulations of radio frequency propagation involving shipboard antennas.
  
• Create or update models for structure, equipment type, and locations for US Navy ships.
  
• Support scans of shipboard topside equipment and incorporation of scan data into the models.
  

OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

• This position operates on a standard 8 hour schedule Monday - Friday.

TRAVEL:

• This position expects no travel.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:

• Active and current Secret clearance at the time of application.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED, required.

CERTIFICATION(S):

• N/A

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years of experience with performing 3D CAD parametric modeling using CAD software (Rhinoceros 3D v.7, Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, or similar system).
• Experience with CAD data management processes
• Experience with Navy ship topside design standards, including antenna numbering standards

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with Rhinoceros, highly desired.
