Basic Job Functions:
Responsibilities for the Structural Supervisor include but are not limited to:
- A commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Productivity through demonstrated integrity and leadership within their group.
- Overseeing the safe operations of fabrication for metal building components as prescribed by specifications and order releases.
- Familiarity of machinery and manufacturing processes for each process on the line.
- Identifying process improvements that result in efficiency and cost savings.
- Communications within the group to ensure solid teamwork and a productive work environment.
- Reviewing teammate's performance and determining coaching needs through evaluating and providing consistent performance reviews and setting expectations during coaching or growth & development sessions.
- Interviewing, hiring and accountability decisions for teammates within the group.
- Travel with potentially short notice.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years leadership experience including overseeing direct reports and experience with coaching and mentoring
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-4 year degree in related field
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Experience with troubleshooting production lines and material handling systems
Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
