Essential Job Functions

  • Perform re-lamping as required, perform Acoustical Ceiling Tile (ACT) replacement and document performance per contract schedule.
  • Perform ventilation system diffuser cleaning as required/requested and document performance as required by contract.
  • Perform dispenser service / installation as required / requested and document performance as required by contract.
  • Perform internal PCSI service request as required to support PCSI's daily operations at NMCP.
  • Provide recommendations for action or procedural revisions where standards are not met.
  • Adhere to company rules, technical procedures, and safety policies as may be communicated to verbally or in writing.
  • Maintain quality control schedules, data and information flow; conduct comprehensive inspections to check for completion of work to contract specifications; provide recommendations for action or procedural revisions where standards are not met.
  • Work in conjunction with theGeneral Maintenance Worker Electrical Manager to prepare reports, findings, and evaluations of quality control inspections; complete quality control inspection checklist and submit discrepancies for correction; conduct follow-up inspections.
  • Develop performance indicators, outcome measures, and appropriate methods of evaluating achievement.
  • Review and update regulatory and compliance policies as needed; report quality control processes and policy development to the General Maintenance Worker Electrical Manager .
  • Submittal of weekly comprehensive reports, for contractual services, as required by the terms of the contract.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one (1) year data entry experience and/or a combination of formal vocational/technical training and experience required.
  • Thorough knowledge of health service techniques and safety practices as related to work is preferred.

  • Ability to plan, directs, and coordinates.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, hospital staff, and government officials.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard, would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks - filing, faxing, scanning, records retention, etc.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • This is a position which requires the ability to work on ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform duties in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ability to work closely and harmoniously with fellow workers.
  • Ability to adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations.
  • Ability to adhere to contract requirements and company policies
  • Ability to adhere to the company mission, core values, policies and ethical practices.
  • Ability to read, speak, write and understand the English language

Working Condition
  • Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
  • Ability to be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors. Subject to hazards associated with working in a health care environment that may cause personal harm; diseases, cuts, bruises, burns, common colds, influenza, dust, odors and elevated noise levels.
  • Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.
  • If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
