We are looking for a self-driven, passionate, and resourceful Solutions Engineer to work in the Access domain in the Enterprise Cyber Security (ECS) team. In this role, you will collaborate in defining and implementing our enterprise access strategy, drive the transformation to an explicit trust architecture model and solve other complex problems. The Access Solutions Engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams, research technologies and solutions and lead designs and implementations. We are looking for an engineer that can become a thought leader at PayPal and beyond and that can help us design and implement the next generation of Identity and Access solutions to enable PayPal's global hybrid cloud strategy. Job Description:

Become a thought leader in Identity and Access management at PayPal and beyond, and bring your experience, knowledge, and ideas to our challenging and dynamic environment to help us define and implement the access strategy for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with architects and engineering leaders to define, revise and maintain the access strategy
  
• Create designs in alignment with the long-term access strategy that allows PayPal to always keep enhancing its security posture
  
• Provide direction and assistance during the implementation of the proposed designs
  

• Coordinate with architects and engineering leaders to define, update and enforce engineering best practices
  
• Communicate and socialize with stakeholders, peers, and other leaders the engineering maturity model of the team
  
• Collaborate with architects during decision making regarding the different access capabilities
  
• Build and present proof of concepts that help the team during various stages of the development process
  
• Research and build proof of concepts of innovative technologies/tools with the purpose of reaching the team objectives and improving the security posture
  

• Design and supervise deployments for various products
  
• Partner with Product Managers and engineering leads to create and maintain the product roadmap
  
• Work with Product Managers during the discovery and intake process of new requirements
  
• Collaborate in the creation of policies, procedures, and enterprise implementation patterns
  
• Owner of functional specifications and engineering requirement documents
  

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of software and infrastructure security experience.
  
• 8+ years of hands-on design, development, and operational experience with some most of the following domains: Authorization, Authentication, Identity Lifecycle Management, Network Access, Privileged Access Management, Audit and Compliance, Identity Analytics and Application Integration
  
• 8+ years of experience designing, building, and delivering production-quality, scalable, secure software solutions.
  

• 8+ years of experience in Agile practices.
  
• Experience with Zero Trust Application and Network Access Technology
  
• Experience with cloud native Access controls in GCP, Azure, AWS.
  
• A sense of ownership and a passion for delighting customers through innovation and creative solutions to sophisticated problems.
  
• Demonstrated ability to learn modern technologies quickly.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical teams.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SailPoint and/or Oracle Identity Management (OIM)
  
• Experience with PingID and Ping Federate
  

• Experience with Okta
  
• Experience with Directory Services
  
• Experience with Network Access Control

Colorado Only: The pay range for this position in Colorado starts as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus or commission if a Sales role. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary.
