Position Overview

The Account Associate builds relationships with and provides support to industry specific clients. The Associate handles all day-to-day servicing and project management, including answering client questions, training, and presentation development. Additionally, the Account Associate role contributes to revenue goals and increases NPD's value with client contacts.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Address day-to-day client market research needs, including responding to and resolving client issues and information needs
  • Accurately interpreting data and clearly articulating issues and findings to both internal and external audiences in written and verbal formats
  • Writing analytical summaries with manager's guidance
  • Work with multiple data sources relevant to given industry
  • Responding to and resolving client identified issues and/or business needs
  • Conducting client training on NPD applications
  • Contributing to team revenue and opportunity pipeline


Qualifications:
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in client service research within market research (consumer, POS, custom, and/or syndicated research)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analysis and writing ability - digests diverse data sets into cohesive and succinct stories
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic presentation skills and understanding of the selling process
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven ability to quickly learn proprietary software/database applications
  • Expert in all MS Office products- Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Willingness to travel (typically
