The opportunity

Reporting to the Vice President we are hiring for an Account Executive. As our new Account Executive you will divide your time between nurturing current relationships and seeking out new business to grow our presence. You will follow up on all inbound leads, sales inquiries, and marketing responses, deliver product solution presentations, and assess opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. As part of the sales team, you will support sales strategies for accounts within specified geographies to meet sales performance targets.

You are an Account Manager with several years of experience within software sales. You excel at new business development and account management and approach sales from a solutions perspective, "What can I help you buy to make your job easier?"

Our new Account Manager, Strategic Accounts will have:

  • The experience. You have a proven success record in end-to-end sales and account management, either directly in the CRE industry or selling subscription-based technical solutions. You have a history of meeting and exceeding your sales quotas and client account retention targets. You are metrics-driven and comfortable using a range of tools and resources to generate leads, pursue deals and manage client accounts.

  • The communication skills. You can easily build a positive, professional relationship with stakeholders at any level - listening, understanding, and responding. You have an exceptional ability to understand a client's business needs and provide them with a solution; you are professional and able to present with poise and gravitas under pressure. You have outstanding negotiation skills. Your written abilities are equally strong.

  • Vision, instincts, and translation. You are a proactive thinker who can come up with innovative solutions quickly, but you take the time to truly understand the business needs of your clients. You believe in pursuing the long term goals and the bigger closes, not the fast and easy. You are comfortable working across all levels of large organizations and institutions.
