Role: Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager wanting to move into a Controller role
Location: Hayward, On-site
Salary: $107-$110K + up to 10% bonus (not guaranteed)
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance3+ years of experienceManagerial experience overseeing a teamStrong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V Look Ups, If Statements)Communication skills for interaction with leaders (Presidents, VP's)Experience in inventory and product cost (Food/Supply Chain industry preferred)QuickBooks proficiencyProactive, adaptable, with a good work ethicResponsibilities:
Manage accounting and administrative activitiesPrepare forecasts, budgets, and financial reportsSupervise 1-2 office accounting staff and oversee a team of 6 (dotted line)Recruit, train, and develop accounting and clerical staffEnsure consistent administration of HR policiesAnalyze financial statements for profit improvementMaintain internal controls, optimize working capital, and ensure timely reportingPay vendors, manage accounts payable, and ensure accurate cold beverage purchasesHandle Workers' Compensation reporting and record keepingManage payroll and HR functionsCompile required reports for management or government agenciesQualifications:
