Position Summary

ITT Inc. is looking for an Accountant to join their Financial Resource Center in Seneca Falls, NY. The primary functions of this position are to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of financial results, the maintenance of the functional controls to safeguard and effectively use assets of the corporation through appropriate controls and compliance, and to providing senior management with the level of support and information required for the operation of the business.
Essential Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for the preparation of account reconciliations, fixed assets, project accounting, general ledger support, financial reporting and processing of journal entries per direction of Shared Services customers.
• Ensure account reconciliation service level agreements are adhered to. This includes working with customers to research and resolve all actionable items.
• Support ongoing improvements/enhancements to applications and processes and the related accounting, utilizing database development and lean concepts.
• Corporate Accounting is responsible for the complete and accurate financial reporting of multiple corporate general ledgers managed by Shared Services.
• Corporate Accounting acts as an inter-company conduit for transactions among and between IPG and ITT HQ and administers the PRMS and SAP General Ledger for these business units. Corporate accounting administers international netting for Shared Services and multiple other business units.
• Corporate Accounting is responsible for Fixed Assets management as a Shared Service for multiple business units.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
• 1-3 years of corporate accounting experience is required
• Fixed asset and project accounting experience is preferred
• Experience with MS Excel, PRMS, and SAP Financials
• Knowledge and application of accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Executes and consistently follows standard processes
• Ability to multi-task
