The incumbent will provide support to the Plant Accountant to ensure proper function of various financial management aspects of the organization including but not limited to, production data, costs, ingredients, whey, etc. Responsible for accounts payable tasks, closing accounting data and upkeep of various data. Additionally, promote and maintain a safe, secure and supportive business-driven environment.

How you will make contributions that matter...

• Preform supplier reconciliation.
• Inbound/outbound material verification
• Create and adjust supplier purchase orders.
• Maintain building security access
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Responsible for system upkeep of data.
• GL review and month end adjusting entries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You are best suited for the role if you...

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business or other related field, preferred. Experience considered in lieu of education

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to develop relationships and influence through strong customer orientation
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to explain and interpret fiscal related policies and general accounting
• Experience with accounts payable
• Strong mathematical and deductive reasoning skills
