We are searching for an Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-directed, proactive problem-solver with a track record of successfully delivering on multiple priorities. Manage daily operations of accounting department and assist with special projects as assigned to facilitate growth of a fast-paced company. It is preferable that this candidate has industry experience and working in a matrixed leadership organization. *While it is desired that this position works from any of our 13 offices, we are open to considering a full-time remote worker.

What Do You Get To Do In This Position:

  • Provide direct supervision, support, and guidance to all accounting staff, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Analyze and proactively investigate variances of current results to prior period and budgets
  • Prepare and issue financial metrics, cash flow projections, and related reports to leadership
  • Manage full-cycle month-end / year-end close procedures, ensuring timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements
  • Oversee cash management ensuring that accounts payable, payroll, and other payments can be issued smoothly and timely
  • Manage and continually enhance proper accounting processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and guidance issued by the parent company
  • Supervise the preparation of bank reconciliations and fixed asset, depreciation, prepayment, and accrual schedules
  • Manage local, state, and federal government tax filing and business registration requirements and compliance
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of a smooth software transition
  • Maintain solid relationships with and provide necessary documentation to outside auditors, tax preparers, and bank associates
  • Execute ad hoc accounting and finance projects as requested by the CFO
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles


This Job Might Be For You If You Have The Following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (preferably in Accounting or Finance) from an accredited college or university; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of accounting / finance experience with progressive responsibilities
  • CPA license required
  • Experience working with GAAP standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Deltek Ajera or comparable ERP experience
  • Experience as manager or supervisor of accounting staff; excellent supervisory skills
  • Ability to identify and solve problems; to formulate ideas to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations
  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, documentation, and accuracy
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
  • Ability to process large amounts of numerical data
  • Adept at adapting to changing circumstances while managing multiple initiatives.
  • Superior time management, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Unquestionable personal integrity, credibility, and leadership abilities necessary to gain the trust and commitment of individuals at all levels of the organization
