Overview

The Acute Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant/ Neurosurgery /Austell is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Job Details

Facility: Wellstar Neurosurgery

Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a Full Time experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our well established Neurosurgery team located in Austell, Georgia.

Advanced Practice Provider would work both In-Patient and Out-Patient at Wellstar Cobb Hospital and Neurosurgery office. It is possible that coverage could be needed at satellite office in Hiram, Georgia.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program. ACNP or AG-ACNP certification

Current Licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider.

ACLS required.

NIHSS and Modified Rankin certified

Previous ICU experience preferred.
