POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for supervision of consumers to ensure their safety and well being

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. ​Provide group education
2. Transport consumer as necessary
3. Log new medications and store appropriately on unit
4. Observe self-administration of medicine on unit
5. Assist with orientation of new consumers
6. Complete paper and electronic documentation within required time frames
7. Attend staff meetings
8. Conduct disaster drill on each shift
9. Observe Unit Manual Policies and maintain high standards of professional behavior

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED preferred, at least eighteen (18) years of age, a valid drivers license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60 day introductory period.  Good verbal and written communication skills. Has a commitment to service and personal excellence. Is team oriented and values diversity.
