Job Description

• Attend to visitors and suppliers who enter the building
• Answer phones in a timely, courteous manner.
• Scan and electronically attach lab documentation to corresponding laboratory reports
• Implement all aspects of the onboarding process for new employees, including ordering/setting-up PCs and related office equipment, requesting software licenses and user permissions, issuing key fobs
• Serve as a primary liaison for IT-related issues
• Maintain proper, timely filing of Invoices and Client reports
• Assist with checking-in customer samples
• Enter Samples into LIMS system
• Build report templates for incoming samples
• Order office and lab supplies via the SGS procurement system
• Arrange company meetings, lunch-n-learns and outings
• Coordinate facility maintenance with appropriate vendors
• Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
This is NOT a remote or hybrid position. This position will require you to work in the office M-F, during normal business hours.

Qualifications

Required:
• Graduated from a recognized two-year college
• However, experience in a lab or office setting with demonstrated abilities may be substituted on a year for year basis for the desired education

Preferred:
• Demonstrated expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Previous experience working in a fast pace contract laboratory or office environment.
• Previous customer service experience.
