Administrative Liaison WEEKDAYS 8am to 4pm

The Community Hospice

New Karner Road Albany

The Community Hospice has a wonderful opportunity for a full-time Administrative Liaison to workas a member of our Community Hospice Quality and Education Team.

This position coordinate closely with ourQuality and Education department to provide administrative support to the Quality manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide secretarial duties for department
  • Perform duties to support the timeliness of the compliance process, including facilitation of expediting medical records.
  • Puts together weekly physician's schedule.
  • Serve as a resource and back up person for supply ordering
  • Assists with orienting new staff to the office on their first day, tracks orientation documentation and ensures completeness
  • Enters education events into HealthStream
  • Types meeting minutes and prepares reports as needed for Quality Department.
  • Tracks, logs, and adds needed items to excel spreadsheets.
  • Interacts with vendors and/or insurance companies to provide requested patient information while maintaining compliance.
  • Performs chart audits as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a medical office or hospital
  • High School Diploma
  • The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to deal with the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient and their family.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills. Word processing, data base and spreadsheet skills.
  • Must have experience with Excel and Word
