Cushman & Wakefield develops and delivers Digital Building and Digital Workplace solutions through a combination of advisory services and partner-driven technology ecosystems. As a digital advisory service, C&W focuses on understanding the current client environment and the underlying opportunities for technology to drive operational efficiencies and enhance occupant experiences. Developing relevant capabilities and associated use cases will provide the framework for implementing any required operational processes and supporting technology solutions.

Our curated technology ecosystem and platform provide vetted solutions that specifically address operational challenges and opportunities as well as create enhanced experiences for occupants, employees, and visitors. C&W has worked with numerous industry-leading technology vendors to identify a connected and interoperable set of solutions.

The role of Advisory Client Solutioning Lead (ACSL) works in partnership with senior leadership, C&W account teams and representative client business lines to develop, promote, and deliver technology services, solutions, and platform capabilities. The ACSL will be ultimately responsible for providing owner's representation in the development and delivery of smart and connected building and workplace solutions.

The ACSL will:

  • Act as an owner's or client's representative in support or development of a clients Smart Building strategy.
  • After a thorough program review, advise senior client stakeholders of potential opportunities in the approach and structure of the Smart Building strategy to meet program goals and objectives more efficiently.
  • Suggest improved strategies and approaches to meeting the stated program goals and objectives using alternate architectures and/or technology solutions as needed.
  • Scrutinize and advise client on relevant technology solutioning, project planning, resource planning, cost estimation, risk identification, etc.
  • Facilitate client to vendor solutioning, project planning and project performance discussions. Serve as client advocate to technology and service vendors involved driving expected performance and achievement of project outcomes.
  • Advise and formulate high-level strategy, goals, and overall approach of potential smart + connected programs and solutions in supporting operational efficiency and end user experience on the client account.
  • Work in alignment with the Digital Advisory practice and broader corporate platform leadership and initiatives to ensure the adoption and operation of solutions are scalable across the account and C&W.
  • Closely coordinate with the internal C&W stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to strategic plans, solutions, advisory practices, products, and services.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of operational technology solutions. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and supporting team members to drive change management and adoption activities.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technology-related fields.
  • Experience in developing and delivering BAS/BMS-related strategies, programs, or initiatives.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in consulting, real estate/workplace, operational technology, smart buildings, or information technology.
  • Extensive program / project management experience.
  • Pertinent understanding of real estate, information technology, data management, and smart building and workplace technology practices required.
  • Knowledge of smart building cybersecurity or information security requirements, ideally within a financial services context
  • Displays in-depth working knowledge and understanding of the smart buildings, operational, and workplace technology industry to include the existing and emerging vendor landscape.
  • Illustrates quantitative problem-solving skills that include technical, operational, and systemic solutions. Demonstrates the ability to overlay financial and organizational considerations to potential issues or solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of business and technology concepts. Shows the ability to apply the concepts to varying client needs creatively.
  • Ability to influence and manage partnerships using mature relationship building, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills; show the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects.
  • Willing to collaborate and invest in an active role in building emerging operational models in a maturing multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Deals well with change and adapts accordingly to shifting priorities and direction as needed.
  • Must be well-organized and able to collaborate with a decentralized team effectively.
  • Must be willing to collaborate closely with clients and teammates while working remotely.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Influence client, account, and corporate stakeholders to align to successfully meet initiative and strategic goals. Provide strategic vision and recommendations that meet or exceed expectations around the development, delivery, and adoption of Smart Building initiatives.
  • Engages and manages several internal and external initiatives simultaneously.
  • Leads multiple projects or engagements through the delivery lifecycle to include supporting the initial pitch, scope definition, and delivery activities to ensure meeting all client expectations.
  • Acts as primary contact for the senior client and business unit leaders. Build effective and trusting working relationships to help the team meet or exceed client needs.
  • Understand client's business model. Educates the client around industry trends and recommendations and appropriately challenges client assumptions where necessary to generate their buy-in and final support.
  • Collaborates with technical services team members to ensure client solutions are identified and align with the overall advisory services engagement outcomes.
  • Communicates and leads with a vision and purpose.
  • Drive new business through internal and external engagement opportunities. Actively maintains a strong, established, and professional network.
  • Travel as needed, 25-60%
  • Other job duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:

The position works primarily in either a remote work environment (home office is acceptable) or satellite corporate office. If mainly working from home, a conducive work environment must be readily available for daily use.
