Salary: $90.00 USD Hourly - $105.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Aeronautical Engineer to work fully on site out of Marietta, GA on W2.

W2 ONLY, Must be a US Citizen with a Secret Clearance.

Security Clearance: Secret

Active Secret with investigation within the last 5 years or CE enrollment. Special access required to start, P47

This position is for an Airframe Structure Design Engineer for an Advanced Development Programs (ADP) effort in Marietta, GA. A successful candidate will apply technical expertise in developing solutions to aircraft structural design problems. This position will require a successful applicant to develop airframe design solutions under general direction and independently. They will coordinate efforts across a wide range of functional organizations, such as Quality Assurance, Planning, Tooling, Structural Analysis, Materials & Processes, Flight Sciences, Production Operations, Flight Test, and various other engineering disciplines. Designs, develops, and tests a variety of, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight. Establishes structural specifications, performs stress analysis, and conducts performance tests.

Skills:

• Experience with 3D Experience or CATIA V5

• Experience with Model Based Definition

• Experience with Full-Sized Determinant Assembly

• Experience with primary and secondary structure design in aircraft

• Experience with subsystem installation design

• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

• Experience with structural analysis for preliminary sizing

Required Skills:

CATIA V5 or V6 (3DX)
