Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Create test planning, writing Automation and/or Manual test scripts and execute. Working on a Product team, participate in meetings and ceremonies, providing input on the overall quality status and tasks. Ability to create clear and concise defects. Able to effectively communicate. Will be working under Project lead's supervision and direction while reporting to QA manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop test plans, scenarios, scripts (Manual/Automation), or procedures on multiple projects of varying size.
• Perform testing on various software systems using manual and/or automation process under supervision of QA project lead or QA manager.
• Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and communicate to project team as required such as product owner, scrum master, project manager, project lead or QA manager.
• Collaborating with Product Team such as Busines Analyst, developer or QA Lead to ensure the clearly defined user stories, product definition and acceptance criteria. Make sure to perform 3 Amigo review session to confirm any uncertainty regarding User story. In addition, perform pair review on written test script prior to execute to maintain the quality of test coverage.
• Other duties as assigned, which may include helping others in the same or different departments, may be assigned by supervision.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• BA/BS degree and/or Associates Degree focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years working experience in an Automation and Manual QA Analyst, QA Tester, or similar QA function role.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• At least 6 months of experience with Automation tool preferred.
