Responsibilities
To schedule ancillary tests and procedures in a medically correct sequence in the Radiology Dept., Cardiology & Pulmonary Lab and Nuclear Medicine Dept. Outsource patients to contract vendors and prepare authorization for exams done outside of the clinic. Confirm and reschedule appointments when equipment is down. Give patients appropriate instructions, directions, and prep kits.

Education
A.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited program.

Experience

1 year of scheduling experience.

1 year medical or radiology experience
Licenses

Special Skills
A.
Basic PC literacy. Alpha/Num Forms Entry.

Insurance knowledge

Excellent Customer service skills

Ability to work efficiently in a high volume area
