As a ServiceNow Application Administrator, you will manage and tune in-house computer software systems to ensure high levels of availability and security of the supported business applications.

This position will also participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system stability and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The Application Admin will facilitate communication between the enterprise and its providers in order to deliver feature enhancements and upgrades, and to ensure licensing compliance. This position will not be originating loans.

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

  • Maintenance of ServiceNow Application as required, complete version upgrades and maintenance after server patches.
  • Respond and resolve incidents/requests/problems, resolve any issues with ServiceNow integrations, and research and coordinate with required technical and business resources for outage resolution.
  • Develop, implement and maintain ServiceNow solutions and as well as any other 3rd party application solutions deemed necessary
  • Establish and maintain governance for the administration of system applications (Release Management, Log Monitoring).
  • Lead, initiate and coordinate technical meetings as required to solve issues or gather requirements.
  • Research and maintain up to date knowledge on ways to use ServiceNow to increase efficiencies.

  • Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of software application products and services.

  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company.
  • 2-5 years' experience in ServiceNow administrator role.
  • Experience implementing enterprise software (ideally ITIL or ITSM related).
  • Experience working with enterprise software companies and/or consulting companies.
  • Experience with web and other technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, etc).
  • Knowledge of technical components such as Active Directory, LDAP, VPN, SSL and other such technologies.
  • Experience with ITSM best practices, IT service desk.
  • Familiarity with SaaS deployments and its supporting architecture is a plus.
  • ServiceNow certification/training is preferred.
