We are seeking a "customer service oriented" Accounts receivable/collections specialist in the Cupertino area who can start right away!

***MUST have previous collections experience and tech savy with accounting software.

Position: AR/ Collections

Pay: $30-$34

Duration: Temp to hire

Location: Cupetino (fully onsite)

Job Description:

• Contact customers and clients with overdue balances via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records and account information in the accounting system.
• Review accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on the age and amount of the debt.
• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions
• Document all collection activities, including phone calls, emails, and payment arrangements, in the company's database or CRM system.
• Provide regular updates to management on the status of outstanding debts and collections efforts.
• Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer concerns.
• Process customer payments received via various methods (e.g., checks, credit card payments, electronic transfers).

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.

Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable

Proficiency in accounting software: Netsuite preferred or (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
