Are you our next Area Supervisor?

This position oversees the safe and environmentally sound day-to-day production activities to support the continuous operations of the facility.

What will you do?

• Responsible for safe and environmentally sound support to the continuous operations of the facility. The person in this position will:
• Manage and execute the daily operations schedule, appropriately delegating tasks to assigned team and holding accountable to achieve short-term, defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Communicate daily operational plan to the production supervisor, incorporating routine messages at the appropriate level.
• Manage and comply with established EHS MS programs, business unit initiatives, and other department administrative requirements
• Possess department-specific understanding of process and equipment, articulate how a process works, and be able to teach and coach assigned team.
• Oversee department's employee training program, ensuring adherence to currency requirements as identified in policies.

What do you need for this role?

• High School diploma or GED certificate and 5+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree in a Technical/Engineering discipline and 1+ year of experience is required.
• Industrial experience, chemical experience, and/or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Maximo, PI, OIS, Kronos is a plus.
• Must be an effective leader and have positive influence on hourly workforce.
• Strong motivational, organizational, and interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Facilities operate on a 24/7 continuous schedule, ability to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends is a must.
• Demonstrated use of structure problem solving methods (e.g. 8 step).
• Physical work environment is frequently outdoors with exposure to varying temperatures from below 32 degrees to above 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Physically able to use standard safety equipment which is rated for 300 pounds or less
