Description:
- Assist with plant financial reporting and P&L responsibilities
- Work closely with Plant Controller to identify and measure ways for improving the profitability of the business.
- Drive improved financial performance by identifying and executing opportunities to increase sales and reduce costs
- Manage annual budget process
- Capital planning for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects.
- Understand and implement best practices
- Complete monthly financial reporting requirements
- Provide accurate monthly financial forecasts
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing
- Prior experience with ERP systems
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations desired
- Capability to build/maintain excellent rapport with management staff at each facility
- Our manufacturing client is currently seeking an assistant Controller that will handle responsibilities for the location in the Columbus OH area. To qualify for this role you must have a solid tenure in manufacturing accounting/Finance.
