Our client needs an exceptional HR Business Partner (Assistant Director, People Business Partner) to work directly with cross-functional teams and the existing People team to deliver on the promise of great talent and effective policies to support them.

As the HR Business Partner, your responsibilities will likely include:
- Utilize knowledge of business and clients to provide guidance and input.
- Oversee the recruitment process for assigned client groups, collaborating with hiring managers and the Talent team.
- Establish relationships of trust with clients, leading to being brought in early for a more efficient impact on important actions and decisions.
- Consult on business issues and coach management to make better people decisions contributing to more effectiveness in their roles.
- Suggest organizational change capabilities to bring teams together to ensure communication, collaboration, and desired results.
- Give advice/input on assessing talent for hiring, promotions, and job changes.
- Partner with managers and Talent Management on manager and employee development solutions.
- Facilitate people processes with assigned clients including mid/year-end processes, employee survey results, workforce planning, talent assessments, etc.
- Advise teams and individuals within client groups to resolve issues, enable change, and optimize performance.
- Provide People with policy guidance and interpretation.
- Champion and model the desired culture and behavioral norms for the organization.
- Provide timely and direct feedback to managers, colleagues, and employees.
- Participate in client meetings as part of the team to keep abreast of the business and provide People strategy and organizational updates.
- Identify the processes, policies, or tools that may conflict with the desired culture working with the team to assess remedies.
- Use project management rigor and methodology in leading team projects.
- Collaborate effectively and frequently seek input from others internally or externally concerning process improvement opportunities.
Your background will include: - BA/BS degree in a business-related discipline, or the equivalent. MBA or MS degree preferred.
- 5+ years of well-rounded HR Generalist experience, 2+ years' experience serving in a Business Partner capacity. At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrate strength in learning agility and the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adept at conflict resolution, successful at working with and coaching multiple levels of the organization.
- Effective communicator in verbal and written skills, seeking first to understand and then to be understood. Tailor communication to the audience appropriately.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Positive attitude, flexible and proactive.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to present information at multiple levels of the company, providing the most relevant and important points clearly and concisely.
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 applications (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Preferred working knowledge in Dayforce, Workday, and or other HR technology.
The expected compensation range for the role is $171,700 to $202,000 annually, however, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. Total compensation will include other elements such as sign-on bonus, discretionary awards, as well as health, financial, and other benefits, including eligibility for 401k, PTO, and paid holidays.
