Team Description
The Facilities Maintenance Engineering (FME) team assures that the building and exterior systems provide the highest level of reliability while operating in the safest and most efficient manner possible. We administer an energy strategy which includes control, conservation, and sustainability goals. We manage small projects and provide technical guidance to the organization.
Primary Function of Position:
This role will be responsible for providing facilities support to our Peachtree Corners campus. The role requires regional representation of FME to various internal and external customers including a close partnership with our integrated facilities management provider. Engage with cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design, and develop programs, policies, and processes that enhance the workplace experience.
This role will have primary responsibility for utility monitoring including the utility monitoring tool. Use monitoring tool to check consumption and costs. Identify savings opportunities. Mange sustainability initiatives.
In addition, the position will represent Facilities Maintenance during local compliance audits and will maintain and confirm with responsible parties, that operating procedures and records are correct and up to date.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily activities needed to ensure a functional, efficient, and safe working environment for employees.
* Use strong communications skills to build relationships with business leadership and internal stakeholders to continually improve our workplace operations.
* Deliver timely responses to inquiries, complaints and/or violations. Exhibit strong listening skills in interactions with customers.
* Manage supplier relationships, including vendor service contracts, periodic and ongoing performance & budget reviews (KPIs, SLAs).
* Set and hold individuals and teams accountable for very high standards of competencies and overall performance.
* Check utility consumption and spend against trend lines and budget. Maintain utility account information and work with energy monitoring tool to verify data quality.
* Manage projects and sustainability initiatives related to utilities.
* Track regional budget. Contribute to group budget and financial plan.
* Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm; apply quality tools to drive SLA attainment and exceed expectations. Ensure service levels are clearly communicated, understood, and performed by on-site and remote staff.
* Work to deliver new buildings and expansions with fully functional systems.
* Serve as the local representative during regulatory compliance activities.
