Job Summary:

Assistant Marketing Manager on Viktor&Rolf Fragrance will play a vital role in managing the fragrance business. In partnership with the Director, this candidate will be responsible for managing the 360 go-to market launch plans across all retailers. This candidate will help develop and manage instore merchandising, sampling, eventing, forecasting, & provide weekly business updates and recommendations to build the business.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities

Administrative departmental duties including, but not limited to:

  • Team Support
    • Help coordinator track codes for saleable and non-saleable goods within DPM
    • Help coordinator track all POs
    • Maintain sample and GWP files
    • Maintain order forms/POP
    • Coordinate and prepare materials for all marketing presentations to senior management, retailers and sales meetings
    • Issue, track and follow up on all Creative Service Requests (CSR's)
    • Ensure that Creative is aware of all copy/package direction, providing components, working copy etc.
    • Order, issue and track all product closet inventory
  • Meeting / Retailer Support
    • Responsible for set-up of all in-house presentations
    • Order and ship comps ahead of all market meetings & miscellaneous comp request across retailers

Category Management Duties:
  • Category Management -
    • Lead competitive overview for forecasting on key launches
    • Manage Launch Bulletins communications to Field team
    • Prepare and/or review documents for all necessary information, maintain accurate files on ongoing projects, keep abreast of all timetables for new product launches and ensure that deadlines are met in a timely manner
    • Ensure all launch timelines are met to achieve optimal OCD + ensure all launch requirements are met and timelines
    • Evaluate new product launches and conduct competitive, consumer and trend analysis for dimensioning and lead meeting review with Supply chain and sales admin
    • Partner with Director and education to write copy for launches and collections/looks
    • Partner with Director to develop the in-store experience in Department, Specialty and Assisted Self Service for key category launches inclusive of launch units and gondola updates
    • Interact with global team to provide feedback on business, launches, assets
    • Develop articles and collateral material and put together package of copy and assets for retailer.com team
    • Provide launch update performance versus plan and gain feedback on the field with performance vs ambition
    • Work with Director to recommend strategic retail pricing for both launches and existing product based on competitive analysis.
  • Retailer Support
    • Partner with Director to drive the Specialty, Assisted-Sell, & Dept store planogram strategy and in-store experience
    • Partner with Director to build out retailer presentations for Market Meetings and present to retailers on key accounts
    • Partner with Education and Artistry teams to build out meaningful in-store events
    • Partner with the Retailer.com and Planning teams to create content, sampling and Consumer Incentive support to drive omni-channel sales
  • Promo Management
    • Forecast and develop with Director sampling and gwp strategy
    • Partner with Director, Supply Chain and Finance to build out Promotional activity
    • Track brand promotionality and sell/through of programs inclusive of sets and consumer incentives
    • Brief all set programming and promo set activations across all accounts.
    • Monitor inventory levels for retail and promotional items to ensure appropriate stock levels
    • Perform competitive research on promo and work with Director to recommend strategic retail pricing for sets

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-2 years beauty marketing experience required
  • Digital Experience a strong plus
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Knowledge of industry
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
  • Knowledge of systems (PO, DPM, Esko) a strong plus
