<p>The Department of Psychology at Grand Valley State University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to begin in August, 2021. We seek faculty who are committed to excellence in classroom teaching, engagement with students in collaborative research, and service to the university and community. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates who have interest and/or experience in working with diverse student and community populations.</p>

<p>REQUIREMENTS</p>

<p>Candidates must have a Ph.D. from an accredited university and must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA or BCBA-D). Research and applied experience working with children and adolescents in school settings or mental health settings is desirable along with scholarly interests that are inclusive and diversify the expertise in our department.</p>

<p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p>

<p>Responsibilities include teaching six courses per year in undergraduate and graduate programs, including online courses in the ABA Graduate Certificate Program; advising and mentoring students; engaging in collaborative research and application-oriented projects that serve the community and discipline; and providing leadership to the ABA program expansion. Additional preferred qualifications include experience with or desire to recruit, teach, and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.</p>

<p>The GVSU Department of Psychology is a dynamic department with active undergraduate and graduate programs supported by 40 faculty.
