Your new company:
Is a respected General Contractor with almost 30 years of experience in the Chicagoland area. Projects includes Public Works, Federal, Healthcare, and multi-family housing. They are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to their team who will assist their Project Manager on multiple ground up and interior renovation projects. The is an opportunity to be part of a company committed to long-term growth.

Your new role:
This position requires a proactive 1-3 year person with experience. You will be in charge of your own part of the project and reporting results to a project manager. This will require scheduling, managing budgets, coordinating subcontractors, overseeing submittals, RFI's, as well as managing change orders.

What you'll need to succeed:
Ideal candidates should have at least 1 years of experience working with a general contractor as an APM, be detail-oriented, have an understanding of project documents and a strong desire to become an expert in the field. You ideally will hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. The ability to build great working relationships both internally and externally is also essential.
