Description
The Department of Classics at Georgetown University invites applications for a three-year, full-time, non-tenure-line Assistant Teaching Professor position in Greek literature and culture to begin August 1, 2023. The teaching load is three courses per semester. The candidate is expected to teach courses on ancient Greek literature and culture in translation as well as ancient Greek language courses at all levels. The candidate will also teach Latin language courses, and Latinists with a strong background in ancient Greek language and literature may also be considered. The Department is committed to building a diverse intellectual community and strongly encourages qualified candidates from a diversity of backgrounds and experiences to apply.
