We are seeking candidates for the Associate Dean for Research position to join our community of scholars who are passionate about nursing science and want to thrive in a creative and caring work environment in beautiful Boca Raton, Florida. Florida Atlantic University's (FAU) Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing is known internationally for being dedicated to Caring Science: expanding the science, practicing the art, studying the meaning, and living it day-to-day. We offer four-degree programs (BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD) with curricula that are unique and caring-based with opportunities for interprofessional education with medical, social work and pharmacy students.

The College of Nursing faculty's research advances Caring Science in areas of health equity, holistic health, healthy aging across the lifespan and transforming healthcare environments. The College of Nursing has a dedicated Office of Research and Scholarship providing both pre and post award grant support along with internal funding opportunities.
The Associate Dean for Research is responsible for the oversight of Office of Nursing Research and Scholarship and provides mentorship and guidance to faculty while facilitating innovative programs of research and scholarly productivity.
Minimum Qualifications:An earned research doctorate from an accredited institution in nursing science (PhD in nursing or related field or DNS - Doctor of Nursing Science) by the time of application and RN licensure required. Note: A DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) is not the correct degree requirement for this position.
