Description

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking applicants graduating in 2022for Associate Software/Systems engineering positions.

Associate Software/Systems Engineers will join our team using powerful, patented technologies to facilitate the delivery of revolutionary capabilities for our customers in the Department of Defense (DOD). These include Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and Virtualization.

All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. security clearance.

Associate Software Engineer

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or Math.
  • Experience in application development with JAVA or C++ in a Linux or Windows environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with any of the following: JavaScript, Python, React, XML, MATLAB, RESTful interfaces and other web development languages or applications
  • Experience with SysML, UML and associated tools (e.g. Rhapsody)
  • Experience with Postgres or other DBMS software
  • Experience with container runtime (e.g. Docker, CRI-O) and orchestration (e.g. OpenShift, Kubernetes, Swarm) technologies
  • Experience organizing and analyzing big data
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git)
  • Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization software
  • Experience developing applications for Department of Defense

Associate Systems Engineer

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Completion of Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Math.
  • Experience in application development with UML, SysML, and modeling software in a Linux or Windows environment.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%
Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with any of the following: JAVA, C++, MATLAB, JavaScript, Python, XML, RESTful interfaces and other web development languages or applications
  • Experience with Postgres or other DBMS software
  • Experience organizing and analyzing big data
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery tools (e.g. Jenkins)

  • Familiarity with VMware or other virtualization software
  • Experience developing applications for Department of Defense
