Description:
Our client is currently seeking a ServiceNow Automation Engineer that is a team player, will be able to add value by speaking on a technical and non-technical level. The Ansible Automation Engineer will work to apply development disciplines to our client infrastructure operations.

Top daily responsibilities:

• JIRA issue maintenance, both in terms of backlog planning and current status on work in progress.
• Automation scripting.
• Building appropriate automation components in conjunction with SMEs Automation testing, validating automation components and updating version controlled documentation as necessary.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Implement the automation in ServiceNow
• Support the Servicenow platform, playbooks, workflow.
• Customize and build/ develop/ architecture.
• VM/OS automation.
• Building and maintaining scripts and infrastructure to provide the base VMs with the OS properly configured for both security and best practices Middleware automation.
• Building and maintaining scripts and infrastructure to install and configure middleware on properly configured base VMs Environment automation.
• Building and maintaining scripts and infrastructure to build and compose fully functioning environments built from components.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Expected Shift: M-F
• 5 plus years of experience.
• Specific Systems Knowledge Required: Ansible, vRA and ServiceNow.
• Experience with chef solo/ansible (must be an expert in one or the other).
• Experience working with vagrant, virtualbox, regex/vi, perl scripting bash scripting awk, grep, xargs, perl
• Experience with pi
• Experience with e python scripting development and sysadmin.
• Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience having the capacity to customize and build/develop architecture.
• Experience with integration.
• Ability to speak technical to the team, peers, and clients.
• Understand an issue, provide a solution, and implement the solution.
• Able to add value that can help the team progress utilizing their knowledge and energy level.

Preferred:

• Specific Systems Knowledge Preferred: One fuse, OpenShift, Azure, Orchestration and DevOps
• Experience with packer.io expertise middleware expertise wsadmin jenkins axway aem oracle DB/RAC selenium grid expertise building/running grid infrastructure (master and nodes) building/running selenium tests.
