Overview

Intrepid Solutions has an immediate need for an Audio-Visual Task Order Manager to support a new large contract supporting a federal customer in the Washington DC/NCR region.
Responsibilities

  • As our AV Task Order Manager, utilize comprehensive knowledge of Audio-Visual communication components and related AV infrastructure within complex and sensitive workspaces to support upgrades, enhancements, and the integration of AV capabilities within existing and newly constructed federal facilities.
  • Manage and work with multiple AV Design, Engineering, and Integration teams performing work at locations south and west of the Washington DC area, specifically at Intrepid's facilities in Herndon and Ashburn VA, and at customer sites located at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) and Quantico VA (Russell-Knox Building).
  • Create, manage, and execute a work schedule that supports multiple teams as they progress through various phases of AV design, integration, commissioning, and testing.
  • Assist AV teams with drafting and completing design plans, reviewing and submitting lists of materials, and refining design plans throughout the course of each task order.
  • Work directly with AV Designers, Engineers, and AV Integrators on each team to complete phased tasks in accordance with the Task Order's Statement of Work.
  • Attend and actively participate in a Weekly Update meeting with Intrepid's program team. Work directly with our Operations Manager to create and update task order artifacts, schedules, work estimates, and other project artifacts that will be delivered to our customer.
  • Work directly with members of our corporate AV Integration, Engineering, and Maintenance Services team to collaborate with our customer, identify areas where customer interaction and feedback is required/desired, and conduct both virtual and onsite visits with our customer to maintain a high level of communication.
  • Work directly with Intrepid's subcontractors to assist with team planning and scheduling as well as assisting with managing, monitoring, and reporting work progress. Assist with monitoring labor hours and burn rates, forecasts, and working with our subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Assist with the production and review of AV procurement/materials lists, team schedules, and concurrently executed activities to support a phased installation, integration, commissioning, and testing of AV components.
  • Work directly with Intrepid's Lead AV Engineer and Senior Advisor to review integration designs, evaluate new designs, and remain current with industry advancements and technical improvements being made within the AV industry.

Qualifications

CLEARANCE:
  • Active Top Secret / SCI with CI polygraph.

CERTIFICATIONS DESIRED:
  • Programming and/or design certifications for AMX
  • Programming and/or design certifications for Crestron
  • Certified Broadcast Networking Engineer (CBNE)
  • Certified Technology Specialist-Designer (CTS-D)
  • Cisco Network Administrator (CNA), or equivalent
  • ICIA CTS audiovisual systems training/certification

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics or a related field OR completion of an apprenticeship program OR equivalent years of work-related experience

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 10-15 years of experience in the field of AV Engineering, Design, Programming, and lifecycle Maintenance with expert working knowledge of AMX and Crestron systems and platforms.
  • Experience managing small to mid-sized teams of AV professionals in phases of AV Design, Integration, Commissioning, Testing, and Training.
  • Professional collaboration and communication with customers and technical points of contact.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with vendors, service providers, and equipment manufacturers to assist corporate and project-level managers with planning, equipment and labor estimation, equipment ordering, and logistic/supply chain monitoring and management.
  • Expert time personal time management skills and ability to multi-task across a portfolio of AV projects and initiatives.
  • Experience communicating directly with vendors and service providers, forming and building strong relationships with partners and suppliers.
  • Logistics planning with Intrepid's Program Manager, Operations Manager, and various members of our corporate team supporting a large federal contract.

TRAVEL:
  • Our AV Task Order Manager will be visiting multiple worksites within the NCR and working with multiple teams executing tasks at Intrepid's facilities and at the customer sites. This position will require weekly site visits to work with our teams and customers.
