Responsibilities

The Environmental Services Bed Control Liaison will collaborate with Bed Control Specialists and Environmental Services leadership to allocate the correct EVS personnel to the areas in most need, to ensure timely room turnover and patient bed availability. This position works in collaboration with the Command Center team to assist in the placement of the right patient in the right bed at the right time. Assists in oversight and management of discharged rooms by reducing time lags in the bed turnover process to ensure patient is placed in assigned bed within responsible time limits. Must have excellent computer, telephone and customer services skills.

Hours shift 11am-11pm

Full Time

Required Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

Required Minimum Certification: N/A

Required Minimum Experience: 3 years of work experience required, in healthcare or hospitality preferred.

Required Minimum Skills: Computer, telephone, multitasking, customer service. Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.
