Job Info

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Some college. Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field preferred
• Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus!
• Past experience working with children, especially children with autism is preferred
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
• Reliable Transportation required
• Monday-Friday availability preferred  

• Behavior Technicians teach children with autism how to talk, play, make friends, and function more independently, while helping redirect challenging behaviors
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings to report child's progress and get specific feedback from the supervisor
• Collect, organize and summarize behavioral data on each child's treatment goals
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs
• Able to sit (on the ground) for extended periods of time and move with ease
• Able to see, hear, articulate (e.g. for client safety, teaching of language and other skills, etc.)
• Able to use/manipulate small technological devices

• Ongoing training in ABA methodologies and/or evidence based practices
• Supervised professional experience for certifications (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA)
