Billing Analyst Contractor

Location: Austin, TX 78703 - Hybrid

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Hybrid

Pay: $26/hr

Temp: February - end of March 2024, potential to get extended based on performance and business needs

An industry leading grocer is seeking a Billing Analyst Contractor to join their team.

• Reviews and verifies billing reports, noting anything that looks out of the ordinary or aging.

• Fields requests for paperwork from suppliers, brokers, and warehouses.

• Supports collections process for all promotional activity (includes scans, EDLC, Prime, co-op, ad fee, other placement fees).

• Coordinates with other Team Members within NP Finance and broader Merchant teams and Accounting.

• Performs basic functions for collections.
o Inbox Management
o Supplier Communication
o Review of Outstanding Balances/ Monthly Aging Report
o Review of Payment Data
o Payment Plan Tracking and Updates to Accounting on Payments Received

• Maintains Contact Updates for Suppliers in Brand Management Tool and PeopleSoft in conjunction with Promo and AR teams.

• Provides weekly updates to Supplier Data Team.

• Develops working relationships with suppliers and Category Managers, communicating with each in a timely manner.

• Maintains data integrity across multiple applications (Brand Management Tool, PeopleSoft).

• Is accountable for accuracy and timeliness in all activities.
