Qualifications

SUMMARY: Person with extensive experience who possesses the skills and abilities to effectively build and

maintain Revit content and train production staff under the direction of Senior Management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

A combination of all or most of these essential duties are expected of a BIM Manager within AO.

  • Create and maintain Revit templates and workflow documents
  • Responsible for Revit standards development, implementation, and enforcement
  • Organize and cleanup existing Revit content
  • Create and maintain Revit family content library
  • Create and maintain Revit detail library
  • Create and maintain Revit training manual
  • Assist production staff with development of Revit content to meet deadlines
  • Assist with production on projects w hen needed
  • Develop Revit training course
  • Provide over the shoulder Revit training
  • Oversee/monitor file exchange with consultants
  • Provide support for plotting and electronic file submissions
  • Work in collaboration with AO's Design/Workflow Technology Lead to ensure MultiFamily Studio Objectives are in harmony with overall Firm Objectives.

No supervisory responsibilities associated with position. No non-supervisory employees reporting directly to this position.
Qualifications

Education and/orExperience

Bachelor of Architecture degree or related field, or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in application of BIM technology to architecture.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience assembling architectural production drawings (multifamily preferred) on ground up projects and coordinating consultants.

Other Skills and Abilities
  • Must possess advanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit Architecture Suite
  • Must have intermediate/advanced knowledge of custom family creation
  • Ability to break down technical concepts and communicate fundamentals to staff
  • Ability to integrate new team members into company's BIM workflow
  • Must be passionate about BIM
  • Ability to manage priorities with minimal guidance
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Architectural license preferred but not required.
