Summary:
Under the guidance of a faculty statistician, the incumbent will develop statistical reports, and engage in research consultation with Cancer Center scientists and researchers. They will manage a number of ongoing consultations and be responsible for drafting the methods and statistical sections of manuscripts in addition to the conduct of simple and complex statistical analyses (ex. mixed model regression and survival analysis). Duties may include assistance with trainees and the development and maintenance of research databases. The incumbent may make presentations of results at local and national meetings. Experience in SAS preferred. The salary range for this position is $55,045- $69,426 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Biometry or a related field.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a MA/MS in Biostatistics, three or more years experience SAS programming experience and experience with the design and analysis of clinical trials.
