Bold Group, a division of EverCommerce, is seeking an experienced Product Manager tocreate, own and drive product roadmaps, including 3-5-year product development plan to maximize return on investment.

This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Product Management for the EverCommerce Security and Alarm division, and will drive product profitability and commercial success. You will guide product(s) through product life cycle (ideation, development, production, maintenance and end of life).You will have successfully led a SaaS or software product line and are an innovative thinker who is dependable, committed, and passionate about delighting the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Advocate products with customers through the definition phase and collect feedback to ensure voice-of-the-customer (VOC) is clearly captured in product roadmap & market needs.
  • Create a plan to maintain competitiveness.
  • Work with Marketing on defining the Market Requirements Document (MRD).
  • Create/own the Product Requirements Document (PRD) - capturing the requirements deemed critical for market segmentation, acceptance, including the cross-section of customer needs and input, evolving systems requirements, latest market and industry technology trends, as well as competitive benchmarking and analysis.
  • Work closely with Management, Development, Sales and Operations teams to successfully drive all products from product definition to development through to end of life.
  • Identify and resolve issues which inhibit implementation of product commitments.
  • Maintain and report against a budget.

Where:

Bold Group's team is distributed across North America, with offices in more than 40 locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working across time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop business plan, marketing strategy, sales strategy, and pricing forecasts for service/product lines.
  • Understand the aspects of our customer's business which applies to our company's products and services.
  • Be able to segment market and identify associated features/functions/solution to address market needs.
  • Generate business cases for development and enhancements of product(s) and/or services.
  • Create, identify, and continually refine product plans (requirements, phase in/out plans, target market, segmentation, product marketing, sales strategy, pricing, roadmap) that provide the best ROI in terms of customer satisfaction, long-term company growth (sales and profit), and technical solutions.
  • Work with development, marketing, sales, and customers to oversee the design, development, integration, and test of product(s) as an integrated part of a complete system.
  • Must have experience in managing product, services, hardware and/or software team in a matrix type organization.
  • Lead departmental or cross-functional integrated product teams focusing on delivering new or upgrading existing products.
  • Continually monitor and negotiate commitments to ensure smooth rollout (development milestones, introduction rates, offer ability, etc.).
  • Maintain status of customer requirements for existing and future products.

Communication
  • Assure product plan is communicated, understood, and implemented internally throughout the organization.
  • Participate and present in select meetings with customers and strategic partners.
  • Participate in system/product discussions by either capturing product directives or presenting product requirements.

Partner Relationships
  • Manage relationship with our business partners and suppliers.
  • Assure service, product and business plan is well understood in both companies.

Issue Identification/Resolution
  • Identify and resolve any issues which may inhibit implementation of the plan and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and resolve any obsolescence, End of Life (EOL) and phase out plans.
  • Key focus on mitigation of customer service issues and communication to ensure resolution is timely and prevents issues form reoccurrence.

Skills and Experience we are seeking:
  • Pragmatic Institute framework experience and certification for Product Managers is highly desired
  • 4-year technical degree, preferably in EE or CS or 7 years Product Management Experience in lieu of degree
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, and developing business strategy
  • Strong financial acumen to develop business cases & P&L management
  • Ability to collaborate with the engineering teams to develop and communicate next-generation innovations and product strategies along with maintain fielded products
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and a diverse range of internal organizations via all methods of communication
  • Ability to negotiate and drive customer priorities
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing a product line from initial research through execution
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional (integrated product) teams supporting a product or product line lifecycle and is recognized as a company leader in this regard
  • Ability to articulate product marketing requirements for their implementation
  • Ability to effectively influence multiple constituencies internally and externally without direct organizational management responsibility
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
  • Works on diverse to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Having a wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Uses independent judgment to ensure projects/assignments are completed accurately and on-time and may be tasked with ensuring work of others is completed in a timely manner
  • Proficient in the use of mainstream PC desktop applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, VISIO, Project)

Compensation:

The target compensation for this position is $90,000-120,000 in Colorado and most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
