Job Summary

Bradford Woods has multiple anticipated part-time positions in leadership, program implementation, and cabin life open for Summer 2024. The positions available are listed below:

  • Creative Arts Program Coordinator
  • Dietetics Program Staff
  • Evening Program Instructor
  • Media Specialist
  • Music Therapy Instructor
  • Nature Program Coordinator
  • Recreation Program Coordinator
  • Cabin Head
  • Cabin Counselor
  • Adventure Challenge Staff
  • Lifeguard
  • Waterfront Director

Qualifications

EDUCATION

Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
Preferred
  • Some college
WORK EXPERIENCE

Preferred
  • Experience in the human service and/or recreation field
  • Experience working with children
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
SKILLS

Required
  • Willingness to learn
  • Flexibility and patience
  • Ability to live on-site during the season
  • Ability to make judgment decisions in a setting where variables can change quickly, and often without notice (such as weather conditions)
  • Ability to easily, effectively, and proficiently communicate needs, feedback, and questions throughout the program
  • Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information
  • Ability to provide a safe, fun environment for all
  • Ability and willingness to assist with activities of daily living

Working Conditions / Demands

This is a physically active position requiring mobility. Must have the ability to move and transfer equipment. Must have the stamina to endure long hours in a position that is both physically and emotionally demanding. Nights will be part of the duties and responsibilities due to our residential capacity. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary

$300 - $450 per week.

Room and board is included on top of the flat hourly rate.
