Excellent opportunity for a Business analyst with data analysis skills with our Wilmington, DE based client. This is a great opportunity with a well-established name brand organization.

Position Description:

· Requirements gathering and writing for data projects

· Business analysis

· Act as liaison with third-party solution providers (ex: Salesforce.com, Workday, and the business) to identify solution alternatives.

· Assess business needs, business strategy, identify emerging information technologies and find solutions.

· Prepare enterprise impact assessments, annual operating plans (IT portion of budgets), and project proposals including the definition, estimation, evaluation and justification of information technology related investments.

· Assure that business needs are met in the development/specification of information systems and products.

· Identify/document process improvements, including conceptual design and requirements definition of information system alternatives.

· Identify costs/benefits for project budgeting/justification.

Required Skills:

· Ability to move things along proactively - this is the biggest key here. Minimal supervision, understand to who to connect with after the meeting, etc.

· Experience around requirements gathering for data warehouse projects, understanding of data models, understand of source system business process analysis (understand these concepts enough to document requirements correctly)

· Ability to interact and build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization, and get the right data points

· Experience with the highest combination of the following ideal: Data analysis, data mapping, business process documentation, and strong business relationships.

· Ability to build and manage external and internal relationships with all parties involved within a project, and manage expectations at all levels.

· Ability to negotiate with external consulting firms for technology resources.

· Requirements gathering and writing, business analysis

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Experience with SQL servers

· Working with Data

· Must have experience working on multiple projects at one time
