Academic & Enterprise Systems is comprised of three teams that support the University: Business and Project Management, Application Development, and Senior Designer.

The Business Analyst works collaboratively with academic departments, service offices, colleges, and other university units to effectively assess business processes and system needs to improve the quality of services offered. This position is responsible for coordinating with their colleagues in Academic & Enterprise Systems (AES) on the maintenance and enhancement of the divisions business solutions that lie within the student information system, document management system, CRM, and other division technology.

The Business Analyst will have in-depth knowledge of the business processes related to AES; obtain and maintain a high level of functional expertise in the systems utilized by the university; and identify opportunities for improvement. This position is also responsible for the coordination of projects, including the development of initial specifications; development of functional documentation; solution testing and troubleshooting; and training of business owners on system solutions. Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of higher education experience
  • Demonstrated functional systems expertise with systems such as: student information systems, CRMs, document management systems, or other software solutions to support higher education functional areas
  • Demonstrated experience managing systems projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Demonstrated experience working in student information systems, such as PeopleSoft or Ellucian.
  • Prior Business Analyst experience
