Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Business Technology (NBT) is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst. The Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Business Analyst works with the NBT team along with other partners to align, optimize, and deliver a fully functional ERP/MES system to Nucor's Plate and Sheet Mills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proficient in building Production plans and line schedules by consistent use of a MES/ERP system
- Facilitating and documenting comprehensive business requirements such as process flows, business rules, interface design, data analysis and data mapping in collaboration with SMEs and IT stakeholders.
- Creating system, end-user and project documentation
- Conducting gap analysis for future needs and opportunities
- Implementation and process changes
- Aligning work order creation, bill of materials and routing best practices with IT systems for improvement
- Promoting widespread and consistent use of ERP/financial systems in relation to production planning and inventory management
This position provides the successful candidate an opportunity to become a key team player providing functional and technical expertise to support and implement Nucor's global enterprise business solution and manufacturing execution systems.
This is a full-time position with the Nucor Business Technology Team located in Irving, Texas. This position requires project related travel, up to 25%.

Minimum Qualifications:
1yearexperience working in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP/MES.
General understanding of project management principles.
3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
