Job Summary

Vertiv has an opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the global Single-Phase, and KVM/Serial line of business. The focus of this role will be to assist in the development of a global business dashboard for sales in, sales out, and market analysis to aid global product leadership in sales and marketing decision making, product initiatives and executive performance summaries. The Business Intelligence Analyst will also have an opportunity to participate in global data management, multiple ERP systems and reporting, global POS data mining, and creation of presentations to effectively communicate IRS metrics and objections.

Responsibilities:

• Improve LOB Leadership's visibility into GBU revenue and market data through creation of BI dashboards
• Consolidate relevant market data for ease of access for Leadership
• Provide ad hoc reporting to support business needs
• Collect, organize, and consolidate multiple data points to deliver fresh insights and recommendations by way of LOB reporting
• Identify trends in data for deeper dive with subject matter experts.
• Proactively monitor data quality and integrity and contribute to the process of data governance to ensure confidence in data.
• Contribute to development of new tools to deliver accurate and timely information
• Create PowerPoint presentations utilizing visuals to communicate clear stories to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics or related field
• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience on PowerApps, Power Automate and Power BI based solutions and basic understanding of DAX language.
• Hands-On experience on UI Automation (Desktop + Web) using Power Automate Desktop.
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of SQL queries and data retrieval
• Good to Have:
  • Scripting knowledge with either VBA or Python,
  • Microsoft Certified Engineer (Power Platform)
  • Knowledge of Python based scripting
  • Knowledge of Azure Services
  • Knowledge on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
  • Knowledge on SDLC process
  • Knowledge of Dataverse
  • Understanding of RPA ecosystem
• Other Profile Expectations:
  • This position requires a self-disciplined, self-motivated, proactive, organized individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with various design frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to set priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Experience with following Agile Scrum development methods
