The IBP/MDM Business System Analyst is a hybrid role that supports the PAC business segment in the areas of Forecasting, Reporting, Data Analysis & Material Master Data. This position will report dotted line to the IBP & MDM Functional Managers on tasks and projects as business situations dictate.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:

  • Key participant in the monthly IBP forecast process. Creates and updates IBP forecast planning views in coordination with forecast meeting participants.
  • Assists in the creation and support of user IBP Analytics and Dashboards
  • Performs edit checks and maintain accuracy of all material master fields to allow proper function in SAP and to ensure quality of data in 'bolt-on' systems fed by SAP. (i.e., IBP, MPower, etc.).
  • Assists in support of peripheral master data (cert profile, config profile)
  • Assists in research and resolution of Business System interface issues.
  • Creates new parts (both finished goods and intermediate) for PAC Product
  • Participates in testing of Business System upgrades.
  • Assists in preparation of System enhancement requests for the development of various queries and reports and other factors required to support functional operations.
  • Participates in defining business requirements to support system configuration.
  • Assists in development Business Process scripts
  • Supports other members of master data group and business users as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant business experience is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in SAP, Production Planning, and Master Data.
  • Detailed knowledge of SAP is required; experience in quality functions preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability and desire to delve into and resolve business issues required.
  • Familiarity with Materion products, processes, services, and systems preferred.
  • Experience in high performance alloy and composites products is a plus.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
