We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our Kiowa CO area office who has the desire to work in an industry leading company with a reputation for excellence. This position involves drafting, creating point files, reviewing of Data Acquisition (DAQ) information and adjust data to correlate with onsite installation, plan take-offs , preparing as-builts, site maps, photos, gathering site data and reports. You will be working directly with the engineers and project managers throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Create location layout drawings and prepare point files to be used with DAQ system.
• Utilize standard engineering practices and techniques to adjust and correlate DAQ data
• Prepare engineering plans
• Revise drawings from markups and/or instructions from the field or Project Managers
• Complete assigned tasks on all projects in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
• 2 years of Engineering/Architecture Drafting experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Suite software
• Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
• Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
• Get-it-done attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
