Job Info
Responsible for the routing, loading/unloading of inbound & outbound air freight shipments to/from the proper destinations. Interact with customers to receive/provide cargo shipments, collect fees & process payments in a courteous, accurate & timely manner. Prepare & examine bills of lading & weigh items to determine shipping charges & prepare freight bills. Contact vendors/claims adjustment department to resolve problems with shipments. Notify customers of any delays in departure/arrival of shipments. Maintain safety/security of cargo facility at all times & comply with safety procedures/station policies. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill & experience capabilities expected for this position.
