The Center of Excellence lead will work within the Financial Services Global Center of Excellence team supporting production, enhancements, and future rollouts of Asset Finance retail application for multiple countries across the globe. The lead will interact with various regional business analysts, business users and coordinate deliveries required from the offshore team. The position is expected to obtain strong understanding of the retail system, especially the utilization of plugins, business logic designer, configuration, and system of record reporting (vs warehouse operational reporting). In addition, the resource will work with the regional business analysts to review new options available as the vendor provides enhanced functionality.

The lead will participate in the IT activities for small to medium sized projects along with team members across financial services group. As the onshore lead, define, coordinate and track activities to the offshore team. Currently, the position will mainly work within the financial services retail receivable system aligned with focus of Center of Excellence team.

• Work with the business organization and/or regional business analysts develop detailed functional requirements needed to enhance existing or define new/enhanced plugins, business logic validation, and system of record (SOR) reports.
• Adaption for understanding process flows, challenging incumbent processes for improvements, and developing new ones.
• Manage internal development deliveries from Center of Excellence team and coordinate with regional business analysts or leads for small to medium size project through full life.
• Coordinate transition of vendor developed CNH customizations to be transitioned to Center of Excellence team for support and future enhancements.
• Manage fixes, enhancements of new System of Record (SOR) reports to transition from project resources to Center of Excellence.
• Define processes and procedures to manage transition of future customizations to the Center of Excellent team.
• Review test requirements, plan and execute quality assurance testing to ensure the delivery of error-free products to the client community.
• Analyze and resolve system problems and practices with emphasis on continual improvements implemented by Center of Excellence team.
• Catalog and document development activities used for reference to maximize re-use and minimize redundancies for common processes.
• Position pays $98,000-$115,000

• Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience within an IT organization or work experience involving the business unit activities supported by the position is preferred.
• Prior experience in full software development life cycle.
• Prior work experience in a mixed on-shore, off-shore resource model is preferred.
• Ability to work in a diverse company and communicate effectively on an international platform.
• Strong organizational skills are a must.
• Prior experience with a software implementation is a plus.
• Working knowledge of data structures with ability to run basic level SQL queries a plus.
• Ability to read C## and understand processing logic and algorithms is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial processes is a plus.
