Description:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting in the preparation, examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the provider. Appropriately and professionally, assist provider and patients during the examination. Assist with front desk duties as needed. The MA is responsible for maintaining the clinical inventories for the practice under the direction and guidance of the Practice Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Medical Assistant Certification required w/in 90 days of hire
- High School Diploma Required
- At least one (1) year of previous Medical Assistant experience in a Physician's office.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health/Medical record preferred
