RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a well established and growing international multi-location service based company in the Grand Rapids area, is looking for a CFO to join their executive leadership team. This position reports to the President, and will lead a team of 8-10 staff.Responsibilities:- In this role, the CFO will present accurate financial reports for ownership and outside investors
- Perform financial analysis to ensure accuracy, spot trends, and optimize performance
- Review cash positions and forecasts
- Ensure that all monthly reconciliations (bank, balance sheet recs, security deposits, etc.) are completed timely and accurately
- Identify and correct discrepancies
- The CFO will ensure that accruals are appropriate and accurately recorded (tax, insurance, etc.)
- Oversee all cash management functions
- Oversee preparation of tax returns by external CPA's
- Oversee / prepare financial audits and ensure timely issuance of reports
- Assist with managing insurance programs for all entities
- Manage the accounting aspects of new acquisitions and refinances
- Oversee financial aspects of construction and development projects
- As a CFO, you will manage budgeting/forecasting process
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA a plus and 5+ years of experience in a leadership role
- CPA required
- 10+ years of accounting experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
