Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leader in Facilities Services. The organization is looking for a Chief Engineer to support their client in Manhattan.
Your new role
The job duties for the Chief Engineer will include, among others:
- Oversight of MEP and staff Union Engineers
- Facilitate MEP and infrastructure assessments
- Oversee incoming vendors and contractors
- Provide expert customer-service to the client and their needs
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:
- Strong writing and communications skills (able to put together a comprehensive Chief's Report)
- CMMS, basic computer skills and preference for any applicable trade designations
- Proven team management
- Reactive in a 24/7 capacity for any emergencies/escalations
What you'll get in return
Hourly rate between $70-$74 per hour, based on experience
